Brief Life History of William Decatur Kartchner

When William Decatur Kartchner was born on 4 May 1820, in Montgomery, Pennsylvania, United States, his father, John Christopher Kartchner, was 31 and his mother, Prudence Wilcox, was 32. He married Margaret Jane Casteel on 21 March 1844, in Hancock, Illinois, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 5 daughters. He lived in Beaver, Beaver, Utah, United States in 1860 and Overton, Clark, Nevada, United States in 1870. He died on 14 May 1892, in Snowflake, Apache, Arizona, United States, at the age of 72, and was buried in R V Mike Ramsay Memorial Cemetery, Snowflake, Navajo, Arizona, United States.
